Spectrum Talent Agency's client, Lance Bass was surprised by the reaction of his band mates having expected them to hate him for ending the career of *NSYNC. Instead, they were upset he wasn’t able to tell them from the beginning. They did not care he was gay. They just wished they could have had the “real” Lance throughout their successful run as a group.
Lance Bass came out in 2006 while vacationing in Provincetown, RI when a fan recognized him and asked if he was gay. Unfortunately, the fan was a reporter from The Washington Post.
